You’ve got until Sunday to get your name up in lights – well, have your name appear among the end credits of The Big Gay Musical, at least. Anyone pre-ordering the movie on DVD or Blu-Ray before then will be added to the scroll.

Okay, it might not rank up their with getting your own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but still a little bit of movie glamour sprinkled your way and a fun bit of trivia to drop into any gay movie conversation.

In case you don’t know the story of The Big Gay Musical, well that’s what the movie’s website (and this trailer) is for. The DVD (released in the U.S. and Canada on 6 April) will have plenty of extras on it, including the fully staged musical within the film, ‘Adam & Steve: Just the Way God Made ‘em’!

I really hope that somehow this queer, musical retelling of the Book of Genesis makes it to Broadway (or at least Off-Broadway, just like in the movie).

Oh and when you watch the trailer, check out lead actor Daniel Robinson’s wink to off-camera at 2:04 – is that not the sexiest, take-me-to-bed wink you’ve ever seen? And not at all easy to pull off – just try practicing in the mirror and you’ll see what I mean.

Oh, and oh, you might be thinking what a great Liza Minnelli impersonator they got for the movie, but that’s actually the diva herself (I make no guarantee to the truthfulness of this statement).
