It’s now okay to look at pictures of Taylor Lautner from the waist down as the young star turns 18 today. So happy birthday Taylor and welcome to adulthood.

This is just as well with new movie, Valentine’s Day, having its first date with cinemas this weekend. It means gay men going to watch it need not feel uncomfortable if their libido shoots up every time Taylor is on screen (although technically he was 17 when he shot his scenes).

Talking of Valentine’s Day: The Movie, its producers have announced plans for a sequel entitled – no, wait for it – New Year’s Eve, to be released – er, which day was it again… oh yes – New Year’s Eve. The idea is to catch up with some of the couples from Valentine’s Day and see how their relationships have fared.

At this stage there are only vague plans to turn this greetings card movie franchise into a trilogy, but the final movie will likely be Judgement Day, when the producers have to atone for their pillaging of the Gregorian calendar.
