Just seen a new, longer trailer for Sex And The City 2, which at first I thought was a compilation of bits from the last movie and the series, which it essentially is. They clearly tacked on the bits in the dessert just to show that, hey, this really is a different movie.

I’m nit-picking, of course, because a new SATC movie is better than none. But I do hope they call it a day after this one (they won’t – No. 3 is already in the works) because by the end of SATC2 it looks like they will have exhausted every possible Carrie-and-Big, Carrie-loses-Big, Carrie-and-Aiden, Carrie-cheats-on-Aiden-with-Big, Carrie-cheats-on-Big-with-Aiden, Big-screws-everything-up, Aiden-and-Carrie-give-it-another-shot that the only possible storyline left will be Aiden and Big screw each other behind Carrie’s back – maybe Sex And The City 3 isn’t looking so bad…

Looks like there’s a gay wedding in this one too. It’s Carrie’s GBFF’s turn to wear white, which is good because Stanford barely got near a mic in the first movie. Just hope they don’t marry him off to Anthony Marentino. What happened to Stanford’s cute-but-dumb cabaret boyfriend?
