I now know better than to criticise Daniel Radcliffe in my postings on this blog – I found out from past experience his fans are a particularly militant and easily mobilised bunch and they, quite frankly, scare the shit out of me.

So, I shall just stick to the facts and announce that the Radcliffe-starring public service ad for LGBTQ youth helpline The Trevor Project – first reported back in February – is now online and you can watch the 30-second video on U-Bend, or you can just click ‘play’ above.

It’s probably Dan’s best performance so far and you can’t even see the hands manipulating the controls in the back of his head… (no, stop it now).

Presumably this PSA was released to coincide with yesterday’s International Day Against Homophobia, so seriously respect to Dan for his contribution, and love to all his fans!
