Travis Mathews has always been interested in the intimate details of people’s lives; he even trained to be a psychotherapist, but soon realised his true calling was in turning the camera on gay men and documenting what really goes on in their bedrooms.

Last year he made a series of of short films under the banner of ‘In Their Room,’ each one featuring a different guy talking candidly about his sex life. It won Best Film at the Good Vibrations Indie Erotic Film Festival, no less.

Travis is currently lurking in yet more bedrooms, hard at work on a fiction feature film that explores what happens when two gay friends finally sleep together – I’m sure most of us can identify with that one.

In a unique move that completely blurs the line between art and porn, Travis is producing I Want Your Love with a gay adult website and the movie includes real and very graphic sex.

You can watch a 14-minute preview of I Want Your Love (sex included) that will eventually form part of the finished movie, but be warned: DEFINITELY NOT WORK SAFE! – ADULTS ONLY.

Update: In Their Room is playing as part of the Gonna Make You Sweat gay short film strand at this month’s Inside Out Toronto LGBT Festival.
